30 Hour Famine
March 2nd through March 3rd, our Youth Group observed a
30-hour famine.  They collected 29,000 paper clips, each paper
clip represented one child who dies every day of hunger.  They
also went door-to-door in the neighorhood to collect food for the
local food bank.  You can see in the following photos just how
much 29,000 paper clips is.  You'll also see the great supply of
food they collected.  At 6:00PM on Saturday, unlike around the
world, their famine was over and they feasted heavily.
